False Claims Act
Susan J. Wirthlin, Attorney at Law, practices False Claims Act ("Qui Tam") law.  The False Claims Act is a federal whistleblower law that is complex in nature and practice.  Dating back to the Civil War, it allows private citizens with certain specific, detailed knowledge of fraud against the US government to come forward, share their knowledge of the fraud with appropriate government officials, and help the US government recover taxpayer money that it has spent as a result of fraud.  Ms. Wirthlin represents private citizens who choose to come forward to share their knowledge of fraud with their government.

False Claims Act cases initially require sealed (i.e., secret) pleadings, and so it is highly unadvisable for potential clients to attempt to bring these cases without legal representation, preferably by an experienced False Claims Act Attorney.
